Alletia Marie Engwall

Alletia Marie Engwall (nee Speer), age 48, of Elgin, Illinois passed away June 13, 2025. Beloved mother of Alexander Engwall. Loving daughter of Walter (Carol) Speer and Mary Brestan. Dear sister of Chris Speer, Erica (Ronald) Mcafee, and Brian (Nicky Hughes) Speer. Proud aunt of Jesse Mcafee and Athena Zamfoti. Fond step-sister and cousin to many. 

Alletia was born October 11, 1976 in Northlake, Illinois. She had a fun-loving spirit and cherished those around her. Alletia loved karaoke and was always there singing her favorite tunes. She excelled at everything she put her mind to. Most importantly she was a devoted mother to her son, and caretaker to her mother. They were her world and she gave her time to make sure they were taken care of. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Northlake Funeral Home, 140 E. North Ave., Northlake, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Alletia's name to the American Diabetes Association,
