Charles John Hall of Chicago, Illinois was born on November 24, 1943 to the late Marvin and Lorraine Hall.  He passed on October 16, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Chuck was the beloved husband of Kathleen Powers Hall, devoted father of Craig, Lauren and Amy (Christopher Libbra); beloved brother to Karen Arnos and Guy Hall (Anne), and cherished grandfather of Sofia.

Chuck was a graduate of Bishop Quarter Junior Military Academy, Fenwick High School and Loyola University.  From 1967 to 1970 he served in the U.S. Army as an Officer and Quartermaster.

A longtime employee of Altman-Hines Limousines, Chuck drove many famous people and collected quite a repertoire of interesting stories. He worked at Wheels, Inc. (Z Frank Co.) in the 70s where he met Kathy. Along with a friend he owned HAYMAKERS INC., a rock and roll bar in Prospect Heights until 1984. It featured many local and national acts.

Chuck enjoyed coaching, watching and playing sports, especially baseball, basketball and golf with Craig, travelling with Lauren and Sofia, and attending rock concerts with Amy. He was also a lifelong Cubs fan.

Chuck loved his large extended family of Halls and Sorensens. He will be missed by many.
