Danny Mescha, a Vietnam War veteran, passed away on 2/13/2023. He was 77 years old.
Danny proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army 4th Infantry Division. He bravely defended the freedoms and values of the United States, putting his life on the line to protect the liberties of his fellow citizens.
After returning from Vietnam, Danny lived a full life, dedicating himself to his family, friends, and community. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He will also be remembered for his love of cars, motorcycles, and old fashion Coke. He loved going out to get food and meet people. Has always had his regular breakfast place where he and his brother Mark spent time entertaining the waitstaff. As a loyal friend who was always there for those who needed him, he was forever generous making friends wherever he found himself.
Danny will be deeply missed by his children, Keith (Amy), Donny, Joey (Evelyn), stepson Ryan Elder and his grandchildren Matthew, Caleigh, Emma, Morgan, David. He will also be missed by his many friends and those who knew him in his community.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home.
