Obituary

Ratda Somsanith - dedicated wife, mother of two, and friend of many - passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 62 at her residence in Franklin Park, IL.

Ratda was born in Vientiane, Laos as the middle child with four other brothers, she immigrated and settled in Franklin Park, IL. She immigrated to the United States as a refugee during the Vietnam War with her family where she would meet her husband and bare two children.

Ratda lived a happy life working and providing for her family. She worked for Pheonix Company of Chicago as an assembly line worker manufacturing cable assemblies. She would love to shop to find the best deals. Always having been a lover of animals, she would frequent the zoo with her husband in her spare time.

 Ratda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Dennis, and her daughter, Joanne and husband David, her other brothers, Charoun, Phillip, Rasmy, Manat.

No memorial service will be held at this time. The family will have a memorial service at a later date, where her and her husband are to be scattered together.
