Rose Marie Barnhart

In loving memory of our mother, Rose Marie Barnhart (nee Hildebrand), 68, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at Kindred Hospital in Chicago. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rose is survived by her children, Christina Szymanski, Kimberley Barnhart Posly and Kenneth J. Barnhart and her cherished grandchildren, Will Szymanski, K.C. Bragg, Elliot Posly and Oliver Posly. She is also survived by her beloved extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Our mother was a kind, caring and generous person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Rose was preceded by her parents, Bernard K. Hildebrand and Ada Belle (nee Culbertson), brothers Roy and Robin Hildebrand, grandson Todd Szymanski, and mother-in-law Nona Griffith (nee Schmidt).

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Northlake Funeral Home, 140 East North Avenue in Northlake, IL.
