“The bodies of the newly dead are not debris nor remnant, nor are they entirely icon or essence. They are, rather, changelings, incubates, hatchlings of a new reality that bear our names and dates, our image and likenesses, as surely in the eyes and ears of our children and grandchildren as did word of our birth in the ears of our parents and their parents. It is wise to treat such new things tenderly, carefully, with honor.”

— Thomas Lynch

Our Standard of Care   Meeting and exceeding your expectations

We are committed to providing you with superior service. We pledge to meet or exceed your expectations, as you entrust us with your loved one.

1. What does Northlake Funeral Home do that is important to me ?

Our focus is to provide kind and professional care to the decedent and the survivors. It is important to know that your loved one is cared for in a properly licensed and secure facility that is devoted to the dignity of the deceased. You can be assured that our care center is equipped with a proper climate controlled environment and provided professional care as needed. The convenience of the survivors is first and foremost in our service. As it may be difficult to meet at our office, you can be assured we are most willing to consult at the residence or other convenient location. Many times this is a better and more flexible option than convening at an office.

2. What advantages does Northlake Funeral Home offer?

Our business model is built on providing flexible and meaningful care to the survivors. We provide a complete range of service and merchandise that any funeral service or cremation provider does. The difference is that we can accommodate across the entire religious, cultural and economic spectrums. With each of these factors, we are flexible and provide a dignified service to all that call upon us.

3. Does Northlake Funeral Home handle cremation?

Yes, we do. In some cases, the cremation process may happen following a viewing or service. The subsequent final placement and memorialization of the cremated remains may be at the cemetery or other location of permanence. The cremation process may simply include having a gathering or memorial service to honor the deceased. Regardless of how simple or detailed, we are here to help.

4. How can we prepare in advance?

It may be necessary to pre-pay for services, in the event someone has depleting assets or simply wants to have a plan for their survivors. Contact us, in advance so we may address your concerns.
